Comments: We were stationed with the 601st CES from 79-82. I was in the Site Development Shop and Linda was in the appliance shop. Left and returned to the 66th CES 1-1/2 later with 2 daughters. Linda was then out. Looking for other Sembachers from the Friday Early Bowling League and from the Varsity Volleyball team. My daughters, Heather and Heidi remember the AYA after school and the swimming parties at the indoor pool (can't remember the town). Be nice to here from others stationed in CE during that time.

Comments: My dad was stationed at Sembach but I attended school (elementary school) at Vogelweh. Loved every minute of it. My stay in the Sembach area are some of the best memories of my life. My teacher was Mrs. Cora Smith....anyone know of her whereabouts? I would love to hear from anyone who was there during that ancient era.

Still have great memories from the AYA, Family Circle Theatre, throwing snowballs at the buses, watching the Sembach Tigers Football team. What great years they were. I already knew where Doug/Greg Dierdorff and Skip Yenchik were. Thanks very much for this site. I thought after 30 years I would never hear from these precious people again. Nothing can replace the school bus, teen club friday/sat nites, working at the commissary getting rich, fussball, n ParkBrau. All the hangovers prepared me to be pretty tough in college. Comments: Didn't live on Sembach itself, but Dad was stationed there and we lived in Volgelweh. Worked at the snack bar, Officer's Club and NCO Club as well as the old stand-by 'the commissary'. Spent most of my free time at Sembach. Took my family through the town and Base in 1983; tried to stop at Nino's, the place for pizza in town but he moved his business to K-town. Times have changed and I've grown older, but the memories of Sembach and all of the good times had there will always remain in my mind as if it was yesterday. Is there any additional K-town grads of '64' out there, other than those few registered? Come on people - if you're on the net, then register!

Comments: This is quite amazing, a home page for Sembachers. Who would have thunk it. I found out about this yesterday (8/18/97) and spent the entire evening looking through my Annuals, reliving fun times, and remembering friends I'm ashamed to say I had not thought of in a long time. I would love to hear from any of the guys who played AYA football, basketball, and/or baseball (Go Tigers!) Has anyone heard from Paul Burke, Bill Taylor, Paul Riedell, Mark Wolfram, or Doug Rhodes? Mark Reynolds, where the hell are you??? What about the AYA gang? You know who you are. I'd love to know how you are. I'm living in Columbia, SC these days and its hot and humid. I'm married (second time) and have two stepdaughters in college. I completed my undergraduate and graduate work at USC and currently do R&D work in the area of testing and evaluation with the SC Dept. of Education. Comments: Moved to Sembach from a small village late in 1959. Age 15 at the time. Remember the cherry trees that we used to climb and the trips to the village over the hill to get some BBK flipcaps. I remember the sleding hill. The pasley (sp) colored buildings, snow in the gas tank of the bus when we didn't want to go to school. Throwing snow balls at the MP's cars when they drove by. The teen club when we would play pool to the wee hours of the morning by the light of the moon. Good time had by all. Lorene Damman probably moved to Sembach in or around 1960-61 also the class of 62. We married 30 years ago this last July and have been great ever since. We would like to hear of others from our time if you are still out there. We went back in 1987 and the place is about the same except for the fence that goes all the way around.(Must be to keep the kids in.) Anybody out there? Carld

Comments: Hi All, What a great blessing this has been... Coming back off leave and finding emails from long lost friends, Wow. You would think by now that I would know how to spell my last name, but some how the "L" escaped me. So, I have updated my email address (thank you Mr. Castle for pointing out the error). Those of you who remember our family, here is a little bit to get you caught up on the Bucklews... Scott was in San Antonio up until a month or so ago. He has now moved to Indianapolis with his wife Sonya and their beautiful baby girl, Kelsy. Stella lives in Hot Springs, AR with Richard and the kids, Natascha and Justin. They have a beautiful home in the country. The folks are also doing extremely well. Mom and dad retired sort of (dad is driving a school bus) about a mile up the road from Stella. I have been in Germany since about May of 94 (give or take a month or two in between). I am contracted to oversee the USAFE program which services families and children with special medical needs. It is a wonderful career and the perk is that I get to live at "home" again. Hope to hear from you soon. Stephanie.
