Comments: Hi All. Looking for friends and classmates. I lived in the building directly behind the AYA, in apartment C2. I wish I had the knack for names like some of you other 'Bachers!!! But I don't. I do however remember a Charles and a Ray I hung around with at school. My sister Tammy hung around with a Dana Wolf(?), Trudy, Monica...and several others. Comments: Hi there Sembachariens. I was born in Muenchweiler my Dad was german. He worked at some office on the base. The security guard Staff-seargeant Brass ,who worked there all his life and let you in and out of the joint is my sisters godfather he guarded the gate before 1962 and well into the 80's.I was 3 years old when we moved to Koblenz but I still remember the 'Rotten Gang Club'. How come nobody mentioned it, or Sgt. Brass for that matter? Surely they're icons aren't they? If somebody remembers my Dad Franz Fiebiger, who would've worked at Sembach quite a few years prior of 1962 please let me know. Cheers Ralf

Comments: Just wanted to say thanks to Jeanne Smith who told me about this site as well as providing me with the e-mail address of my old friend Ron Jackson...who in turn gave me the address of Steve Gronniger and Fred Harris. Amazingly, none of us ended up in jail! And after all the beer we stole from 2nd story balconies. We shared many firsts at Sembach: first beer, first job (bagging groceries at the commissary), first trip to Berlin...first time I ever ran around a train terminal in my underwear trying to find my glasses cause Fred made me drop them out a train window (long story). Got to see Ron, Steve and Fred after 30+ years the first week of August. Can't tell you how proud I am of you guys...we didn't turn out so bad after all! Larry

I lived in bldg 80 apt A3 (below the Calabros). I hung out with Cathy Michel, Laura Dinsmore, Sandy Ellis, Kirstin Hledik. I went to school from 1st grade to 7th grade in Sembach and would love to hear from old classmates. I've been in touch with Kirstin and would love to get together for a reunion next year. Comments: Just back from a Sembach Brats reunion, small but mighty, in Dallas/Plano Texas 7/28-30, 2000. Most of us (approx. 25) had not seen each other in 30-33 years...classes of 67-70 represented. Jill Dunn, our official hostess, and Libby Ship, went all out, and we just connected---all of us. NOW--WE NEED TO FIND....the following two people, and more to come!! Victor E. Clark, class of '69, lived on Sembach....dated Janet Colon, good friend was Ollie King....everyone called him Mike (oh, well, he was a brat!)!! Lisa Hession, graduated in 1968, have no clue as to married name, her dad was Col. F. X. Hession---would love to find her, too. Comments: After 30 years, just got together with Larry Eldreth and Ron Jackson here in Jacksonville Florida!!! Just missed seeing Fred Harris by a couple of hours because I was at work and he had to leave before I got a chance to see him. These are the only two people I have seen since leaving Sembach in March of 1970. Larry/Ron it was great spending some time with you and reminiscing(sp?) about the past. Had lots of fun and never realized I had forgotten so many of the things we had done together as kids. Your memories are so much better than mine!! Ron, thanks for the copy of the yearbook. Comments: Ok..I know I just posted a comment just recently...but I have a little more to say, so please bare with me. I am currently looking for old friends such as Phil Morgan, Ellen Dover, Chet Bolduc, Natalie & Gary Hughes, any of the Hortons, Tanya, Irene, or Gloria Moreno, Cathy Eye, Kathy & Bob Boyd,Patricia Sullivan,Jocelyn & Darla Richmond, Darren and Cheryl Hays, Gary Gant, and Rhonda, KK & Fraizer Lemon. I remember so many people! Does anyone remember this particular crowd: KC, Laura McSweeney,Kevin Bender,Troy Rowland, Patty Magoon, and Shadra Bockleman...hey..I used to hang out with them too!! That was one of the many great things with Sembach...you were never "pressured" to just hang out with just one particular group or crowd. Believe it or not, I have fortunately had the opportunity to see several people from The Bach...and it's really wonderful to both see and keep in touch with such good friends. If anyone out there feels like reuniting...a few friends and I (Sharon McKnight-Frederick & Tracey Smith-Abraham) are in the process of planning a 2001 Reunion right now. Comments: Ok..well..I guess I gotta do it! I've read most of the msgs. posted and now I am feeling like I need to speak myself. *smile! Well..I'm going to go way back..does anyone remember Amy Ledbetter? I'm talking way back at Sembach Jr. High School? Where is Mr. T? That's all I want to know..*smile! Mr. T was the man! What about the Moreno's? I'm looking for them also! How about Chery and Darren Hayes? Now that was way back!! Dan, Vince & I have ran into quite a few fellow Sembachers...and we thoroughly enjoyed each and every visit. I don't know what it is about Sembach...seeing as we all used to count down our days...anticipating the return to "The World" as we called it back then. Little did we know we were living the best times of our lives right then and there. Well..a few friends and I are in the process of planning a Sembach/K-town Reunion sometime next year. If anyone is interested...feel free to email me Just for the record...this one will be located on the East Coast...since the last one was on the West Coast. It's amazing how many people you remember...and even the ones you don't. I remember playing sports, skipping school,going to the movies, bowling alley...the AYA dances...what about the All-Area Dances...that was fun! Comments: Just a quick note to say "hi" to all the people who've lived at Sembach. I lived there from June '73-May '76. Graduated from K-town in January '76. I married Charlie Henri who also lived at Sembach and graduated in '75. We married in May '77. Our children range in age from 11 to 22 years old. We've lived in Nebraska for the past 15 years. It's good to read the comments from people we've known but I wish more people that I've e-mailed would write back. Hope everyone is enjoying wonderful lives:) Would love to hear from anyone! A Sembach reunion for the mid '70s people would be GREAT! Any ideas?

Comments: Hi there everyone. I'll tell you this page is awsome! I've been in touch with soo many people since discovering this. Germany is, of course, still great. Sembach is growing back up (the Admin side). Quite a bit of people are getting stationed there because Ramstein can't handle the overload. It'll be interesting to see what happens in the next couple of years. There's now an autobahn that runs right passed the base. Some of our favorite sledding hills are gone. :( I'm interested in getting a bunch of former Sembacher's together for a small reunion at Sembach. I think it would be pretty fun! We could go to the old stomping grounds and see how things have changed. I'd like to get some inputs. Take care all!

I went to Sembach Jr. High my 7th, 8th, and 9th grades then I went my sophmore year to K-town. I was a cheerleader through the AYA when I was there.
