Comments: I recognize so many of the names from the 66-73 time frame and even remember most of the faces to go with them! Sembach and K-Town high are still my fondest memories. It seems that even the kids that came before and after us are still going to and doing the same things we did! Have been back to Sembach and K-town several times over the years when I was in the Air Force. Would like to say hi to anyone that may remember me and I am happy to see that everyone is doing great!

Comments: I moved with my family to Sembach when I was four years old. We lived in the village down the street from hanni and frietels in an apartment building. I only attended kindergarten in Sembach. But because of my parents divorce I spent many memorable summers with my father in Germany.

My first grade teacher was Mrs. Koal or something like that (I remember we were nicknamed the Koalas). I remember don't really remember anybody off the top of my head. Comments: This is just an update. I have moved from Hawaii back to St. Marys Georgia. Last summer I met with Ron Jackson in Atlanta and could not believe where all the time had gone. He still looked the same, except for the mustache, and we had a great visit. I would be very interested in a reunion of former Sembach Tigers. The years there were without a doubt the best of my childhood. Would enjoy hearing from anyone else who was there during the same time frame.

Comments: Hi! After reading everyone's comments, it has really brought back alot of fond memories of my Sembach days, Suicide hill, dances and going to football games in the bowl. I remember in the 6th grade (1971) going to Garmisch to ski school for a week with my class. My favorite teacher was Mr.T. After so many years its' hard to remember everyone's full name, but here are a few, Tommy Ovens, Cathy Taylor, Mark Harris, Elly May.... If anyone knows these guys please leave me a note. Comments: Hey! Everyone - I can't tell you how good it is to realize that in a few short years of being at Sembach we've made such lifelong frenz. I live in Michigan now after being in California then Virginia. It's a little like Germany here. ABSOLUTLEY FREEZING! I have a 3 1/2 year old little girl named Sammantha. She is my universe-- my sanity. I am almost divorced. It's been a good experience if that's at all possible. I'm also looking for Sam Cocks. I spent some time with him in Virginia but we lost touch about 6 or 7 years ago. If anyone knows anything please let me know too. Another person I would really like to get in touch with is John Sieh. If anyone knows anything about John please let me know this as well. The last time I talked to him he was in Texas at basic training and had gotten stationed in the Azores. yikes. Comments: Truly amazing this technology! You can never go home, but you may get a chance to visit a lost memory or friend. Remember "Waiting for the Sun" The Doors, or was it waiting for the Magic bus on those so cold winter mornings to K-Town "69" One of our drivers name was Dieter for those of you that remember and the window being pushed out and the susquent trip to the motor pool to have some Sgt. explain how lucky we were to have contract buses. Comments: I just got a phone call last night from someone I havn't heard from or seen in over 26 years. What a blast to remember that far back. In reading all the comments from people who have lived at Sembach while I was there and after, it sure seems like the good memories I have of living at Sembach are common to all of us. although they say if you can remember the 70's, you didn't really live them. I've got to say that there were times when my memory got a little foggy, but I can remember those years as being some of the best in my life. The concerts, gasthouases like Rosies, the Blue Licht, the pizzaria and all the other little places around the area. Since I've been here in Columbia SC I've seen Mark Stohr, Tom Titus, Jeff McCallister,and heard from Roger Delp. Anyone else out there from 1970-1972 let me hear from you.

Comments: Sembach has to be the greatest place I lived growing up.. I remember sledding on suicide hill, the AYA dances, cheerleading, basketball games, baseball games, football season and just hanging out plqying pool, fussball, and ping pong the most. My best friend was Cindy O'Connell. We still keep in contact even tho she lives in Wisconsin and I in California. Ron Jackson and I met again in San Diego at the reunion last June. First time we'd seen each other in 29 years. We really hadn't changed much-just a little older! I would love to find, Mike and Steve Malone, Dave Thedinger, Steve Pagan, Dave and Paul Burke, Darlene Butte, Melanie McCaughn and Dolly Widner! I am married to an Army dentist and we've been in the Army 21 years. We have 3 daughters - my oldest attends the USAFA in Colorado as a sophomore, my middle is in 9th grade and my youngest in in 2nd grade. We've never been stationed anywhere as fun as Sembach was! We are currently stationed at Ft. Irwin, CA in the middle of the Mohave Desert halfway between Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Ron and I are also in contact with Pete Guignard who lives in Olathe, Kansas. I would be interested in a Sembach reunion instead of a huge K-town one. I go by Kristin - not Kris like I did then. Comments: This is smooth!!! I've wanted to try to get in contact with the old crew, but the I didn't feel like paying $79 for U.S. Search. I remember going down to the pit catching lizards and frogs etc.. Running around in the woods playing War. Playing marbles at every playground. If you really knew, the dances at the AYA!! YEA!! AYA sports were the bomb!! Sembach vs. K-town was the matchup!
